Marshmallow fight on a Saturday night!

Yes, Blogger and I have made up and are friends now again. After waiting the obligatory 24 hours I now have tons of photo space to work with. It is $20.00 per year, I guess I can handle that. This is the site that Pea gave me to get help loading more picture space as some of you asked for it.

Back to last weeks post about the baby goats. Here are the pictures that I was not able to post before my upgrade. Isn't he sweet?!

Notice that Stuart Bunny is bigger then the baby goat!

What does one do on a Saturday evening for entertainment? What else, have a marshmallow fight! Of course I wouldn't have any part of that kind of foolishness.........ahem.......I guess pictures don't lie! The grand kids LUV it and the raccoons have a feast to clean up after it gets dark! :o)

This morning about 7 Cousin K and D called and wanted to come over to pick up D's Ipod. They came through the woods and were here in no time. I asked them if they would like some breakfast and of course they said YES! I asked them what they wanted and K said scrambled eggs made in the microwave. I had never made eggs in the microwave before and was a bit doubtful but they came out beautifully!

three eggs
milk
salt and pepper
shredded cheese
pepperoni cut in bite size pieces

(Could add bacon, onions, green peppers, ham, broccoli, whatever.)

Mix the eggs and milk with a whisk, add the rest of the ingredients and put in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for two minutes, take out stir, cook for another two minutes, take out and make sure it is not runny, if it is stir and cook for one more minute. Voila! Scrambled eggs nice and fluffy and no frying pan to clean. Thanks Cousin K! They ate every morsel!

All the horses and ponies got a good brushing this morning. Kipper is shedding to beat the band but Skippy is holding onto his coat for dear life. Sure wish I could body clip him but that would put him right over the edge. He is so frightened of clippers that I can't even do his bridle path, I have to do it with scissors. We have tried everything trying to get him accustomed to them but after four years I guess it's a no go. I sure would like to take the people that abused him and hogtie them and clip them like they did to him! Can you imagine having your legs tied up laying on the ground to be clipped? As my mother says, it just makes my blood boil to think of it! I'm so glad he has come to live with us and is pampered and loved on every day of his life. Some people think we should have named him Lucky! :o)

So glad you and blogger kissed and made up ;-)
Thanks for the link (I was at 57% today so it will probably go fast)
You must be cooking in the kitchen if you made eggs in the micro. I've never tried that (well Bill usually is the breakfast cook here, so maybe I'll give him the recipe!)
Your marshmallow fight looks fun, but if it brings raccoons they'd eat our fish (Not good!)
Loved seeing the baby goats. We still have the herd being moved from hill to hill around here.
Skipper is very lucky to be part of your family. I know how much you love all your pets.
BTW, our daughter's dog, which they rescued, is named "Lucky" He's such a good boy.
love you,
xoxo

A marshmallow fight....how fun is that????? I'll bet everyone loved that. The remnants on the deck tell the whole story.

I am glad that you got that blogger problem figured out so that we can once again enjoy all the beautiful photos. Now I know who to call when I have a problem with mine.

Lucky would have been an appropriate name for him. Little does he know how lucky he actually is!!! It is such a shame that abuse happens like that.

Surgery went well yesterday and we are now on the long recovery road, but my mom is doing well.

Have a wonderful remainder of the weekend. xxooxx

I just love the little goat pictures. They are so sweet, aren't they?

I have never heard of a marshmallow fight before, but it looks like fun. Me, I'd rather toast and eat them. Not so good for the diet.

I can't even comment on the abuse of that precious horse. Some people should never be pet owners, or parents for that matter..Oh! Was that a rant?

Poor Kipper! That must have been horrifying for him! Such people!!! I am glad he has you to love and care for him now...he really is one lucky guy now!!!

Oh, I'll just bet those raccoons love it when you have those marshmallow fights! What a sweet treat for them! Love it!!!

And that baby goat and bunny were adorable! There is something about a goat's eyes that makes it hard not to love them.

The scrambled eggs sound easy and good! I have a recipe somewhere for omelets cooked in freezer bags, dropped into boiling water...great for when you have a bunch to cook breakfast for. Everyone fixes their own omelet with a variety of fixin's, and then everyone's omelet is finished at the same time!

I never realized there was so much to caring for horses like that. Almost like brushing a cat to get rid of that old undercoat. But a horse has more area to be brushed. If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I'd like to come back as one of your horses! I had someone tell me that one time that she'd like to come back as one of my cats. LOL

Taking little feral kitty for her cardiac ultrasound today...she will be so scared. Bless her little heart. She is costing me a fortune, but she is only 3 years old and deserves to be helped. I just hope they start her on some meds soon.

Have a great week! We are in for a hot one! To be 88 by the end of the week!

Oh! Thanks for posting that site, as I'm sure we all will need to buy more photo space eventually.

Heyyyyyy I can see you throwing marshmallows in one of those pictures so don't you try to act innocent with me!!! hehe Leave it to you to think of something so fun...I've never had a marshmallow fight before but it sure looks like everyone was having a blast:-) There was a racoon in our backyard last night, maybe I should have thrown marshmallows at him! lol

The baby goat is so darling and omigosh, look at the size of that bunny beside it! I love baby animals and always wish they'd stay small like that:-)

I've made scrambled eggs in the microwave before and you're right, they do turn out delicious. The boys sure look like they're enjoying them:-)

Skippy is indeed very lucky to have found a home with you. The poor thing, one can't even imagine what he went through beforehand. Bless your heart for giving him the love and care that he deserves!!!

Sunny and cool here this morning but supposed to get a bit warmer by afternoon. I guess I should get dressed and start taking stuff out of the shed...better not be any creepy crawlers in there, otherwise you'll hear me scream way over there! lol Love you dear friend. xoxoxo
