Kitchen Remodel Pictures....Finally.

As of 4 o'clock this afternoon everything is done in my kitchen except for a little bit of painting that has to be done up over the cupboards. The painter can't come till next week and I didn't want to wait any longer to post the pictures so here they are. I am very happy with the way everything turned out. I had the shelves put in for all of my cookbooks which makes it nice to have them right at eye level and not down in one of the lower cupboards. The double oven will serve me well at holiday time as I always have the whole family here. Also when I get on a cooking spree it will be nice to cook several things at once. The microwave is now over the stove and it has a turn table which the other one didn't. Yea!!! I have more sideboard space now with the bar expanded so that the kids can eat there. We put ceramic tile down for the floor and Corian for the counters. I had Corian before and just loved it so decided to have it again. I have bought a few things to decorate with but will change that many times over. :o) Can't wait to decorate for the holidays! Anywho that's what 5 weeks of work will get you, a nice new kitchen!

Here are a few of the accessories that I have found so far.

I mixed some checkered tiles in with the plain.

That is absolutely fabulous! What room to move and cook. My last house had a one bun kitchen! This house can hold many buns, helping hands, and grandkids! So happy for you!

It really looks nice. I am so glad that you are pleased with the results. It will be so nice for the holiday entertaining. I am glad to see that the fridge made an appearing act!!!!

Guess it means that there is no more vacation from cooking now. Mom will be happy to have her place back too.

Enjoy!

Wow, now that's a gorgeous kitchen! You'll really enjoy playing chef in there! The accesories compliment everything beautifully. And I love the chekered tile as well. I know you can't wait for the holidays, but I can. Way too soon to think about them now, unless you mean the 4th of July. And they did an amzing remodel in 5 weeks!

Oh, and thank you for the microwave scrambled eggs recipe, below. Have never tried that before, but will now. And if you say it turned out good, I know it did.

What an enjoyable tour of your beautiful kitchen. Thank you, tour guide!

Huggies,

Renie

Absolutely fabulous! I have such a pathetic kitchen, but I do think we have matching fridge, stove, and microwave. I love them all. I am drooling, and will never have anything close.

I am so far behind everywhere - at least 3 posts for everyone. I used to use Flickr for my picture downloads until the thing that happened causing me to go private. Otherwise, I'm sure I would have run out of free Blogger space too. I didn't know that could happen.

I used to make microwave scrambled eggs, but haven't for a long time. They're easy and good!

Ooooooooh! LOVE it. Love the neutrals and whites. Love the different cabinet heights. It's so serene. I'd be afraid to cook in it though. ;-)
