Blackberry Farm Cont....

One morning The Hubs had some time off from working so we decided to take a private trail ride with Carla our guide.  When you go with a group you can only move along as fast as the least experienced rider which is okay because you really get to look around and enjoy your surroundings but it is also fun to go at a little faster pace and ride on some more challenging trails.

I rode Rooster again, he is such a good boy and really didn't try to pull anything foolish other then wandering off the trail a couple of times.  :o)  He is very inquisitive and seeings as Lil' Bud is the same way I felt right at home on him.

I loved this old shed.

Of course I always make friends with the barn cats.  :o)

                                                                 Our ride arrived.

This is Rock and his team mate is called Rolling as in rock and rolling!

This is John who took us on such a wonderful carriage ride.  Thanks John!  John told us lots of history about the farm which was so interesting, we enjoyed our ride so much!

                                                                        Hi Rock!

                                                             Such beautiful sights.

The Smokies were all around us.

                                                                    The Hubs.

Our mode of transportation while at the farm.

Well time to head over to the Humane Society for a board meeting.  It's supposed to be 90* today and humid so will be doing a lot of watering when I get home.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Sure looks like you were in your element!!!! I'm glad you had so much fun.

Hey...do you want to send us a little heat???? I could go for those 90s, but you can keep the humidity.

Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs!

What a gorgeous place. I love the gazebo(?) next to the pond. I think I could live there.

I think the Smokey Mountains will have to go on our "Bucket List."

Looks like it was a lovely place. I've never been on a horse vacation. Looks like it could be fun.......although I'm sure I'd miss my ponies. LOL

What a wonderful trip you had. Was it hotter there or in Maine? That's one thing I'm not looking forward to when we come next month.

Did I tell you details? We'll come on the 22nd and DC and Kev will play golf at a fund raiser on the 23rd (DC's birthday, as it happens). Then we're going to be tourists while Kev finishes up the week - he'll graduate in Brocton on the 30th. He'll come home with us for a week, then head back there for the next 6 months.

Please add them to your list so he and Sema know what to do next!

Got to go back and read older posts. Wanted to let u know I did not die, but my computer did. MM, If u have a sec, could u leave a short comment? This has been part of the problem. Think it is fixed now.
Love the Pics, but must admit they make me homesick for the smokies. Had a dear aunt that lived in the foothills on the carolina side. God has blessed us w some beautiful country!!!
