Friends and Family Bruins Hockey Game

This weekend was Family and Friends weekend at the Boston Bruins game.  Son, DIL, the kiddos, Cousin K and his Mom all went down to watch the game.  It was part of Cousin K's birthday present to go to a Bruins game.

They had such a good time and Son kept sending me pictures via his Blackberry.  Mr. D just had to have one of the big foam claws!

Everyone was given one of the yellow hankies to wave during the game.  The Bruins won BTW.

The Three Muskateers

Warming up.  The stadium was packed by the time the game started.

Lots of munchies to eat while watching the game.

The whole gang with the birthday boy.

I'm glad they got to go and have such a good time together.  The three cousins have grown right up together and are more like brother and sister then cousins.  They fight sometimes like brothers and sisters too!

You will all be relieved to hear that I made it through church today without wearing a sign and without tucking my skirt into my panty hose.  Yea!  It was a good day!

Anyone know what this is?  Not the basket (but isn't that cute!), the red thingy.  It came out of my grandmother's house and is in my cousins home.  I have a feeling Donna will know what it is.  Any guesses?

Is it a milk strainer? I grew up on a farm and it kind of looks looks like that to me. How sweet about the game and the kids..they are all so cute! Come say hi :D

Sounds like a fun time. It's nice when cousins are so close.
I'm chuckling about your embarrassing incidents at church.
At least you can laugh about them :)
My hubby thinks your mystery machine is a cream separator. I wonder how old it is. What an interesting contraption.

I think it's some kind of grinder, but beyond that, I'm lost. I think I could make tons of applesauce withit.

The kiddos look like they are having a ball at the Bruins game. What fun.

Enjoyed the pics of the family! What a beautiful crew you have! So glad you were able to get away and have some fun after the last month. Good for you!
The red thing?! My only guess is it's something that got hung on the back of your skirt and you drug it behind you to church?!!! :)
Ya know I love ya,
Terri

I am guessing that it's a coffee grinder.
Oh, how we would love to attend an NHL game. We make do with subscribing to Center Ice. Playoffs start this week. Go Red Wings!

A still??!! Just kidding.

Looks like they had a nice, comfy place to enjoy the game. To be honest, when you said they were going to the Bruins, I didn't know what sport that was! I was afraid they were going to get wet.

I am so happy that you made it through church without things hanging or tucked in. What will the church have to talk about tho????
It looks like a ice cream machine.
Thanks for sharing the kiddos at the game. Looks like fun.

Yup, God probably gave a sigh of relief when He saw you walking in the church with nothing out of place on your body! LOL

That's a very old cream separator you've got there! Probably from the 30's or 40's. Am I right? The reason I know is because my brother in law Tony has one in his front yard and when he saw my interest in it, he told me all about it:-)

What a fun time for the kids to be able to go watch a Boston Bruins game, wow! When I was a teenager, I would watch every game the Bruins played with my brother Claude...I remember him sharing his peanuts with me while watching the game on tv! hehe I miss the days of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Derek Sanderson, etc.

It's finally turned beautiful here again and although very slow in warming up, it's NOT SNOWING! lol Love you lots xoxoxo

Great pics, sounds like a fun time! The red thingy? Clearly something that strains or grinds something, What? I do not know, LOL!

Hey MM,
I am doing what I think to be a fun game.
In each installment, I am finding fun and creative ways to incorporate the blog titles of the ones I am following. Think it may be a fun challenge for me and a way to draw attention to my fellow bloggers sites.Your name would be highlighted so readers would understand Home on the Range is an additional
blog I am following.I promise not to mention skirts of any kind! :) I wanted to get your permission prior to doing so. Check out #13 to see an example. It's a good read this time as well.
Blessings to u

It lloks like the kids had a wonderful time at the hockey game. What a thrill for all of them!

It will be interesting to know what your machine is. It looks like some sort of separator with the two spouts.

I am sure the church congregation was happy to see that you were not a distraction for them this week.

Did your folks get home with no big drama? I am sure they are glad to be back.

We had a great week away and I'll blog about it when I get caught up here. Have a great weekend, my friend. Hugs.
