We started out Christmas Eve Day having a Patriot’s party here on the ole range. We all like to watch the game so decided it would be fun to watch it together before the Christmas festivities began. Even Noodles got into the fun with Miss T.
There was lots of yummy food.
We decided to make some gingerbread men.
Can we say ‘calories’? My hips are expanding just looking at this picture!!!
Lots of presents for good boys and girls. A signed Patriot’s shirt for Cousin K!
A new rolling pin for Funsize! Watch out Paul!!!!
Whoops! Caught me having some Coke. Hey, it could have been the fudge!
Mr. D’s favorite, boxers from Rainforest Cafe.
A necklace for DIL.
All my young people except Funsize who had to leave early for a four hour trip to visit her boyfriends parents up north.
Bringing in the new bikes that were hidden in Mom and Dad’s apartment.
Sons new Sound Pipe! Thanks Hollie for the suggestion, he really likes it. Did Colt like his?
A Pogo stick for Miss T.
Hunting clothes for Cousin K.
Fun playing a new game.
I received several special gifts this year. One was a book made for me by my niece Ashley. I was very touched by the amount of work she put into it and all the lovely pictures she tracked down. It is such a great idea if you want to do something special for someone. She used Shutterfly. She used every letter of the alphabet but I will put in just a few.
This one proves I CAN make good yeast rolls!
Funsize had a clock made up for me that I love. It’s me, Miss T and Funsize on the horses one day last summer. What a unique gift!!! I LOVE it!
My niece Ana did a collage for me with old and new pictures. I’m sure it took a lot of time putting this together. It even has my favorite picture of me and the Hubs right in the middle.
I am very blessed to have such wonderful caring nieces and nephews. Some live quite a distance away but these three live right here in town and I see them often. Can’t ask for much more then that!!

Colt does have his soundpipe installed, & he LOVES it! I'm amazed myself at the sound quality! I hope your son loves his also!
Wow, you really did get some creative gifts! All of them took a lot of work. I would never have recognized you in that special picture!
What is a soundpipe?
Come on over and celebrate with the twins' b-day party yesterday! What a noisy fun afternoon!
I just read the previous post and discovered how much Miss T looks like you when you were a kid!
It looks like an amazing Christmas. The gifts you received were the best!!!! There is nothing like pictures and the thought that went into each of them is incredible.
Everyone looks like they had a terrific time and enjoyed their gifts, but what IS that thing that J is holding up? I have never heard of a soundpipe before. Guess I could google it!

A soundpipe? What is that! I'll have to Google it. :)
Hope you've recovered from all the delicious sweets.
Your Christmas appears to have been very special.
You guys had a great Christmas it would appear. Family is what it's all about. Right??
I'd like to order on dozen of those rolls. I hope you can get them to Nebraska still hot. Don't worry yourself with the butter. We've got our own and I still have some of Marilyn's homemade Cherry Jam. Just the rolls will do it.
What fun!! And I loved those unique gifts. Those were truly love gifts.
Didn't you know there are NO calories in food prepared for Christmas?? Well now you know so go ahead and eat all the fudge you want next Christmas! hehe I so enjoyed looking at every picture and seeing all the fun you had with your family over the holidays. That's what it's all about, isn't it, being with our loved ones:-)
I'm loving the unique gifts you received, the book, the clock, the collage...all so very special. I'll have to remember those ideas. I had personalized calendars made for my boys with pictures I took myself of nature/animals/birds. Will have to blog about them:-)
Soundpipe...have no idea what that is, even by looking at the picture of it! lol Will have to Google it:-) I didn't even know they still made Pogo Sticks, how awesome. And I can imagine the squeals of delight when the bikes came out:-)
20F here and snow is in the forecast for this afternoon. I need to go buy some groceries so should go do that before it does start to snow. I hate driving in snow!!! Love you to bits xoxoxo
Where do I begin? What a fun-filled post. And a fun-filled day with so many things to do and see. Okay, first off, it's been eons since I've been on a pogo stick. Let alone see one. And those boxer shorts...what a hoot. But the one that just blows my mind is a signed, authentic, NFL jersey!! Color me green with jealousy.
