Can I help with the homework?

clip_image002

Here is Miss T with her kitty Penelope.  They are like two peas in a pod even when it comes to homework time.  She sits there patiently waiting for T to get finished.  She even came to spend the night here last weekend when Miss T spend the night.  Noodles liked the company but Munchkin was in a snit and hid the whole time.

Miss T loves all cats.  In fact she loves all animals and has a tender heart towards them.  She was playing with my Ipad the other night and Noodles was a good subject to shoot.

She also took pictures of her Miss Matched socks.  I guess they are all the rage now with the younger set, mismatched socks on purpose, they even come this way.  We got these at the Miss Matched store at Universal in the fall.

I’ve been continuing to take down my Christmas decorations.  It looks awfully bare without the lights and greenery on the shelf in the sunroom.  I may put up some strands of little white lights all along the shelf if I can do it without them being seen.

We made little apple tarts and Miss T made her own crust from scratch.  I’m going to put together a little binder with all the different recipes she has made for her.  That girl loves to cook!

These rolls came out much better then my hockey puck debacle of Christmas Day!

It’s a few days later and I still haven’t gotten this posted yet.  I just came home from having a nice lunch with two horsey friends over town.  It was nice, we sat there for three hours!  When we came out one friend had a ticket on her car………she was not happy.  Then as I was driving home she called and said that it was a courtesy ticket.  I had never heard of that, I thought a ticket was a ticket but guess not.  Maybe it’s like a warning. She was happy!

Ever have those days when you just can’t think of anything interesting to write? I’m having one of those days.  The End.

That is a cute cat! It is so good for kids to have an animal to love isn't it. Your rolls looks delicious...it is that time of year when everything slows down and nothing much is going on, I kind of like it! ;D

I bet Penelope would even go to school with T if she was allowed:-) Such a cute picture of her sitting there waiting for T to finish her homework. I always had a cat when I was growing up and except for school, we were never apart!!

Noodles is such a gorgeous cat as well and I really like the pictures that T took of him:-) Mismatched socks...what will they think of next! lol

Your apple tarts and rolls look so scrumptious! Miss T is already a good cook cuz look who's showing her how:-) Want to hear something funny? Neither of my boys showed any interest in cooking while growing up but when Corey (my youngest) moved out, he printed off almost all of my recipes of dishes I often cooked and he's now quite the chef!! When we go over, it's him that does all the cooking and I love that he uses my recipes, yet often puts a different twist on them to make them his own:-)

January is always such a blah month with nothing much going on so it's no wonder we struggle with what to blog about! lol As always, though, I thoroughly enjoyed coming over to visit you:-) Love you! xoxoxoox

Miss T and her animal love must take after her Grandma!!!! Her love of cooking too!!!! Those tarts look delicious. You should make her a cookbook that includes the recipes and pictures of wht the two of you have done together. That would be special.

A courtesy ticket??? Never heard of those before, but how nice was that?

We had a new little grandson this afternoon. He's a keeper!

See you soon! xox

I don't like coming here. Now I feel like going to find something to eat.
I need you to show a picture of road apples or something.

I thought your post was interesting...I loved the kitty pictures and seeing all those lovely baked goods. Oh my they did look good. Winter time is a good time to put the oven on. Glad you got out a bit for lunch and that the ticket was only a warning. I'd never heard of that either. It's cold and snowy here and I'm trying to stay in and keep warm.

To answer your questions - yes, I have days when I can't think of anything more to write - in fact, I just finished a post that took a couple of days, and it took 11 days to even think of where to start to get thoughts going. I am in a writing funk for sure.

And yes, it sounds like something I'd do - I don't think I've done exactly the same thing - not turning on the crock pot - but I definitely have done equally goofy things. would love to make custard, but need to buy the little cups. Crazy, huh?

Livi loves to cook, too, and I need to get her doing it more. She loves to help.

Have a great week-end!

I know what you mean about blogging something of interest. I guess when it is cold out you do less to write about.
Your rolls do look so yummy.
I also have done that trick with the not turning on something. I turned it on I just forgot to plug it in.We had to have something else for supper.
Have a wonderful weekend.

But, my heavens, it's torture here -- viewing all those delectable foods right out of the oven. :::drooling:::
