I'm a country girl and enjoy living on 400 acres of beautiful Maine land but I also enjoy a good dose of retail therapy with lunch out and a pedi to make for a perfect day. It's not life in the fast lane, more like the breakdown lane but it's my life and I love it!

Cliff and I always wonder why people don't just set a match to old buildings. But then those of us with digital cameras wouldn't have such fascinating pictures!
This is incredible. I can hardly stop looking at it. Nice blue sky, too.
Anytime I see an old building like this that's been abandoned and falling apart, it makes me wonder who once lived in it and what it looked like in its prime. Wonderful picture!! xox
I agree with pea. When I see a house like that I always wonder what stories those walls could tell us. What was Christmas like for the family who lived there? Were there lots of happy times? Were babies born there . . .
Wow...that old building seems to be defying gravity and the laws of physics. Amazing...
We have several barns in this shape around this suburban neighborhood still...this use to be all country here not more than 20 years back. Two barns were finally demolished- one five years ago and another last year...but there still are a few taking that last stand...and I love them!
