These pictures were out front at the dentist office. I'm glad my son is going to pick Husband up so I don't have to get out again. Glad I decided yesterday to cancel quilt class as some of the ladies come from 25 miles away and there's no way they would want to get out in this weather.
Everything looks like it has a tall hat on! My sister lives in western Maine and she just called and said that they have gotten 16 inches so far! They are over near the mountains and usually get a bit more then we do. The ski resorts must be rejoicing as this will make the spring skiing awesome!
I have lived here in Maine my whole life but continue to be thrilled with the beauty of the snow coming down. Last night after I went to bed I could see out the sliding glass doors in our bedroom and watch the snow drifting down softly. It was very tranquil and put me to sleep quickly. I must admit I was surprised when it was still coming down when I woke up but never the less was still amazed at the beauty of it all.

If it weren't so beautiful, it would be really depressing.
Just think...all this snow will surely make you appreciate Spring (or maybe it will be Summer) when it finally arrives.
oh my! and here I was complaining about our freeze advisory and bringing in my flowers and plants. Shame on ME.
I can't send you sun, but I can send you sunny wishes. Spring will arrive there eventually. Think how special it will feel!
:)
OMY GOODNESS!!!
I am just in awww here in OH!
I cannot believe this! That is just absolutely amazing! I have heard of getting snow up till may but come on!
I thought we had it bad here in NY state, with icy wind and snow flurries, but.....good heavens girl, you've GOT SNOW!! You poor things! Ours is just pretend compared to yours! However, we don't like it one little bit. Tuesday was balmy and I worked out in the garden cleaning up. It was wonderful...but apparently Mother Nature was just teasing.
It sure does look pretty though. You've taken some great pictures.
Thanks for your very sweet comment on my last post :)xoxo
I can't believe you got 15 inches of snow !I guess I won't complain about a dusting here in Pa. !!
Yes, the cookies freeze well, I do it all the time.
Just dropped by from Kerri's posting to see your snowy pictures. Here in the UK the Easter weekend promises to be sunny and properly springlike.
you jinxed me on Oklahoma, it snowed yesterday evening here-gah!
I'm here from Kerri's blog and I haven't seen snow like this since the 1960's here in Ky.
Oh, would my grandchildren have fun making snowmen.
From Florida this looks absolutely beautiful. We lived in Maine - in the most beautiful spot I can imagine and I loved the snow.. especially way up on our dirt road - so silent and hushed. Thanks so much for the memories..
