I should come for a visit. Lately it's been really boring around here.

In the winter of 2007, I had a raccoon get into the house somehow. It was above the ceiling and Meeko went crazy.

Loved the photo of the blue jay biting at your finger. They are one of my favorite birds. I love to hear them scolding the squirrels.

Your horses are absolutely beautiful and the buttercups and daisies make me smile.

Enjoy your week, my friend. Your post certainly brightened my day.

Blessings,
MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08175754179624182953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1872537960727288131.post-66634197527931492612009-07-12T09:22:07.152-04:002009-07-12T09:22:07.152-04:00Did you save me a piece of apple pie?;)

I'm sure the boys are glad to be back out in the warm sunshine.

Our son also had a racoon come in through their cat door. That is NOT a fun thing to have happen. I'm glad you had no problems.

I had left my door ajar the other day for just a few seconds and a giant lizard came through. It took me forever to escort him out.

We had to rush my mom back to the hospital yesterday with a pulmonary embolism. She is in ICU, but is doing much better. SCARY!

Hope you have a great weekend, my friend. xoxNeedled Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07749314475716010490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1872537960727288131.post-64051616970039752972009-07-11T08:36:08.587-04:002009-07-11T08:36:08.587-04:00Me again -

We have the same songs in our heads often, you and I.

So one day this week Care Bear was telling Grandpa a story about somebody that was really fat - she looked at me and said, "fatter than you, Grandma!" I gave her a withering look.Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14938607712512860569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1872537960727288131.post-29365285294610675722009-07-10T23:12:48.157-04:002009-07-10T23:12:48.157-04:00Yay for sunshine in Maine! They're cute, but they can really be mean.

The flowers are great - I'll bet they're really soaking up the sun.

I hear you've given in and joined Facebook. I'm still holding out, but it's getting harder and harder. What I don't like is so many are FB'ing and not blogging any more. I can't afford another obsession, but would like to see who would come out of the woodwork in my past - I've lived so many places.

We had a blue jay land on our clothesline pole the other day and they are indeed beautiful, though raucous!Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14938607712512860569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1872537960727288131.post-16908007326345410742009-07-10T19:04:59.365-04:002009-07-10T19:04:59.365-04:00Love all your outside pictures!! Someday I will get one.

Great story about the raccoon. Good thing she didn't freak out and make a mess in the new kitchen!Carroll Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06984389331445746632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1872537960727288131.post-26031431897216861752009-07-10T17:20:54.737-04:002009-07-10T17:20:54.737-04:00Hello there, Redneck Lady!

And from the looks of the critters and horses, they're all enjoying it. Squirrels are so cute and fun aren't they? I really enjoy mine. And the raccoons, too, although I don't have a cat door, so they can't come inside. Good thing. The two dogs would go a bit crazy, if they did. As it is, they bark their heads of when the raccoons are on the deck, at night, waiting for their treat. Sometimes I have as many as a dozen! And what's not to like about blue jays?

Love the buttercups and the daisies. My lawn man (son Greg) has been instructed to leave the daisies be! Of course, our daisies are done now, but I love them as well.

Love all the pictures, and really enjoyed this post. Have a great weekend, Louise!

Huggies,

Renie

http://renieburghardtsworldRenie Burghardthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02660484248593903002noreply@blogger.com
